-John Cabot made only 2 voyages to the new world
-In 1483, he moved to Bristol England where Columbus reported about the new land
-In 1497, he sailed on the Matthew, and landed in Newfoundland.
-On his second voyage, he found horrible waters and dark forests and never heard from again.
-King Henry VII gave john Cabot the opportunity to sail a real ship.
-he probably reached Baffin island or Newfoundland.
-He had a son called Sebastian Cabot.
-John Cabot joined with the shipping company
-John Cabot sailed to the St Lawrence river, just like Jacques Cartier.
-He migrated to Venice in 1498
-His original name was Giovanni Caboto.

Accomplishments
John Cabot sailed to North America for new land, and he succeeded. If it weren't for him, Europeans would have never heard of Newfoundland or Greenland. A statue was there to admire John Cabot for his major achievement.
